The end of winter is the time for thorough cleaning for most of us. The task might be tedious, but it is an absolute must, so here are some tips to make it all easier for you:
- Start with decluttering – cluttered spaces are impossible to clean properly, so the first step toward a clean home is decluttering. Go from room to room with a large garbage bag and collect everything that you no longer need or that is no longer functional, including pieces of chocolate paper, clothes, appliances, empty bottles of cosmetics and cleaning chemicals;
- Work strategically – create a checklist for each room and handle one task at a time. Make sure to include all the small and large tasks, from removing cobwebs from corners to cleaning the windows, from wiping the doorknobs to vacuuming the carpets, make sure your vacuum is in tip top shape and have it serviced at Broomfield Vacuum Center, and lastly follow your list;
- Check your wardrobe, too – you will need spring and summer clothes soon, so go through your wardrobe and pack away winter clothing to make room for the lighter items. Vacuum bags are great for minimizing the space taken up by winter coats and other bulky clothing items. Clean the wardrobes and the closets before taking out the clothes for the spring and the summer.
