Suction power is in most cases a very important issue to
consider when buying a new vacuum cleaner. If you buy one that has too much
power, you’ll essentially be throwing money away while having a vacuum that
you’ll never use at its full potential. If, on the other hand, the suction
power is not great enough, then the vacuum won’t do its job properly.
The amount of power that your vacuum will need will be
determined by the surfaces you’ll use it on. There is no other factor to
consider, except perhaps buying a slightly stronger vacuum than what you’ll
need most times, to avoid running it at full strength all the time.
Consider the surfaces you’ll be using it on. Do you have a
lot of thick rugs that are usually full of pet hair? Are your carpets smooth
and typically clean? Maybe most of your floors are hardwood floors or tiles,
and you only use carpets in a few distinct rooms.
Depending on the number of carpets and rugs you use and
their coarseness, as well as the amount of dirt you expect to remove on a daily
basis, you can gauge the strength of your vacuum and make the right choice
about buying the best one. Just keep in mind that a weaker vacuum cleaner won’t
be able to deliver a greater power than its maximum value and create a need to visit Arvada Vacuum for repairs, but a more powerful
one can, in most cases, be dialed down to deal with sensitive surfaces.
