Tips for Vacuuming Your Couch

Vacuums And Vacuuming Furniture

Your couch is probably the most used piece of furniture in your room, therefore you need to pay special attention to cleaning it whenever you run your vacuum around the house. Here are some tips how to make sure your couch is properly cleaned:

-          Vacuum your couch at least once a week – the couch is often a dirtier place than the floor. The reason is simple: the same dust, dirt and hair that falls on the floor falls on the couch, too, but most people tend to clean their sofas more rarely than their floors. Your couch needs the same attention as your floors and your vacuuming routine needs to include cleaning the sofa, too;

-          Use the special attachment with your SEBO vacuum – when you run your vacuum on the sofa, make sure you use the upholstery attachment and also reduce the intensity of your movements to prevent damage to the fabric. Use short, gentle and efficient movement and run your vacuum several times over the same spot to make sure it is completely clean. This is especially true for leather sofas, what’s more, if your couch is covered in luxurious leather, you should probably wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and protect it with leather upholstery cleaner, too;
