Vacuum lines can be very stylish and they can really take
the hassle out of trying to even out a carpet that you vacuumed using motions
that go in every direction. You can consider using the following guidelines to
get straight lines, as well as lines made at a certain angle:
·
One of the best methods you can use is to move
your vacuum in a zig-zag motion starting in the direction where no lines are
made and finishing at an angle as you bring it back in the opposite direction.
The result should look like a series of triangular shapes that look like
flattened cones. If your vacuum does not have great suction, take it to an Arvada vacuum repair shop.
·
Another option is to go straight in one
direction – preferably parallel to the carpet’s longest edge, and keep going
without moving the carpet sideways at all. Once you get to the end, return at a
very slight angle, which should lead to some beautiful long lines made at an
angle. Repeat the process with the same motion, a little sideways and parallel
to your original line, until you reach the opposite side of the room.
·
The previous method can also be used by simply
lifting the vacuum up when you reach the end and then placing it next to the
original path, if you want to obtain perfect, parallel lines.
