So we all know what happens when we don’t vacuum enough. The
carpet tends to be severely affected by dust, hair and other debris, and our
carpets attract unwanted pests and bacteria that will later cause a lot of
trouble. But, while it’s true that avoiding cleaning your carpet often enough
is bad, is it true that there is such a thing as vacuuming your carpet too
often?
Vacuuming is typically a periodic process. You do it a few
times per week, and your carpet stays nice and clear of any unwanted dust, dirt
and debris. So what happens, for example, if you use your vacuum every day or
even twice a day?
Normally, a vacuum that has a mild brush, when used on a
lower setting and without scrubbing too much shouldn’t cause too much trouble.
However, when you constantly scrape the carpet and try to remove as much dirt
as you can, then chances are that action will cause quite a bit of damage. You also may need shark vacuum repair a whole lot quicker.
To avoid discoloring
or creating holes in your carpet – especially if the rug or carpet you own is
somewhat older, then it is best to make sure you limit vacuuming to 2-3 times
per week and avoid as much as possible damaging the carpet while vacuuming,
through the use of rough movements.
